At Mango Dogs we only provide extensive training programs. All of our programs start in private lessons, and then progress into group training classes so that our clients can maintain their training over the long term.
All training tools, private lessons, group classes, additional support, is include in the cost of our programs.
We offer a 50% discount for each additional dog in the home! (Some Exceptions Can Apply)
1: WALK DOCTOR
Few things in life suck more than walking a dog who’s pulling you all over the place, especially if they are barking their head off when they see other dogs, people, or animals.
You’ll learn;
- How to stop the pulling Leash ASAP
- How to get your dog's attention even when they are distracted
- How to pass other dogs, people, animals, without it being a scene for the neighbours
This program starts with 2-3 private lessons at your home, one per week, and then progresses into group classes that we hold every Saturday in Halifax at 1 pm. Group classes are then provided for 3 months to help you maintain all of your awesome new results. We typically use a prong collar in this program in most cases.

2: TRANSFORM YOUR DOG IN 4 WEEKS OR LESS, GUARANTEED!
Struggling with calling their dog(s) back? Leash pulling/leash reactivity? Or other behavioural issues! We can help with;

We typically do 4 private lessons and then transition into our weekly group classes. Group classes are provided for 12 months and are on Saturdays at 1pm in Halifax NS. Group classes help you maintain all of your awesome new results. We use an ecollar in this program, and it will be included in the cost of your program.

3: AGGRESSION REHABILITATION
Talk about stress. Owning a dog with a history of aggressive behaviour is next-level stress and a huge liability. In some cases, we can tame your wild beast, and they will return to their earlier social self. Some dogs we’ve worked with in this program are able to frequent dog parks, and others need to be a little more specific about what they can and can not do with their dog.
The truth is, some dogs are just not social with humans, or dogs, or both. We can’t force your dog to be social, but we can make damn sure they are safe and controlled. In these cases, it’s our job to help you override your dog's aggressive tendencies and build into them an insane amount of impulse control and obedience. Think of impulse control as (a dog doing what you want instead of what they want)
The future for your dog can be bright in 95% of cases, even if they are being medicated for their behavioural issues. Reactive and aggressive dogs are our specialty at Mango Dogs, and we’ve helped thousands of dogs just like yours. We’ll show you what to do and when to do it, but you have to do the work over the long term. You can’t use our techniques and tools for a few weeks or a few months and stop cold turkey without your dog reverting back. There is NO way to help an aggressive dog that doesn't involve the dog owner putting in the time over the long term.
This program starts with 4-5 private lessons, one per week for 4 or 5 weeks, and then progress into group classes that we hold every Saturday in Halifax at 1 pm. Group classes are then provided for 12 months to help you maintain all of your awesome new results. We use an ecollar in this program, and it will be included in the cost of your program.
The cost is typically $4250 -$5500 for one dog. Plus HST
This program can help with;
- Intense cases of leash reactivity (towards dogs or people).
- Dogs who are aggressive with other dogs
- Dogs who are aggressive with humans (But Not With Kids They Live With)
- Dogs who are aggressive with animals
- Dogs who guard their food, toys, bones, people, etc.
- Dogs who are nasty at the vet
- Multiple dogs fighting in the same home (extra fee, expect +$6500 total price)
- Dogs who are aggressive with their adult owners (extra fee, expect +6500 total price)

Exceptions for Reactive/Aggressive Dogs
Despite our extensive work with thousands of dogs annually, there are certain cases we don't take on and cases we are cautious about taking on:
PUPPIES UNDER SIX MONTHS: We do not train puppies under 6 months of age.
Want your dog aggressive dog to go to daycare? Sorry, we can't help with that. Unless your daycare is willing to use the tools and techniques we use.
LITTLE DOGS - We do not train dogs under 20lb

WE DO TRAIN MULTIPLE DOG HOMES WITH FIGHTING - All Dogs in the home MUST be trained, no exceptions. These cases can cost from 6-10k depending on the situation
